Contact Jean for a quote on your job. Fine Art Copy and Reproduction / Giclée prints It has been our passion to bring to Conejo Valley Artists a cuttiing-edge digital art copy capacity that could copy paintings of virtually any size and reproduce them with state-of-the-art quality on either canvas or a variety of archival papers. We use the Better Light camera back (108 megapixels) in a four-by-five studio view camera specially adapted for art copy in combination with a precision track that can reproduce a giclée print of an artist's painting of up to 4 x 8 feet at full 300 dpi printing resolution (we can go bigger by arrangement). Photographing any one painting presents a unique set of challenges and we take great care in lighting each painting to make a digital file and giclée free of unwanted reflections and glare from heavy varnish or impasto. Many other studios simply can't handle these problems. For printing, we use the Epson ultrachrome printers. Please see Penguin Digital Arts for more information. |
